Trousers

All of the trousers I make are custom made to your specifications. I can do a variety of styles, from the form fitting trousers of the early half of the century, to the less shapely styles of the 1860s, all the way up to the 1900s. You can choose from a fall front fly, traditional button fly, or French fly, as well as a number of pocket types. Choose from a selection of fine fabrics to make the trousers truly unique. There are of course other options that will be discussed in more detail when you place an order.

When you order a pair of my trousers, the first step will be to get your measurements. I can do that either in person if you’re nearby, or you can take them yourself by following my instructions and providing me the measurements. After receiving the measurements, a custom pattern is draught up for you by hand, taking into account the style details requested.

Next, I will create a muslin, or test garment for you to try on. This again can be done in person for a personal fitting, or through the mail. Digital photos would need to be taken in that case and sent to me for evaluation of the fit.

Meanwhile, you will have selected the fabric through a choice of fabric swatches, which will be ordered in time to begin work when the muslin fitting is done. After the fit is approved, I will begin work on the trousers themselves.

Pricing for my trousers are shown below. Tax and Shipping is included. 50% payment is due before I begin work, with the remainder due at time of delivery. No interest payment plans are available, just ask for one at time of order.
